It has not been quiet at the Eagle Valley School this summer. Many building improvement projects have been in the works over the summer months. Most recently a crew has been working on the outside of the high school caulking the windows and painting and restoring parts of the lower level of the building. Earlier there was new cement work done. The sidewalk near the ag entrance has been repaired and the steps on the south side of the building were removed. Also an old set of stairs wrapping around the corner of the building near the music department were removed. New carpet has been installed in the principal’s office, new window shades added to classrooms and new lockers installed in the boys locker room.

“We’ve got the numbers. The parents and students came and expressed their reasons for having golf. I think we should reinstate it,” said Greenwaldt, chairman of the Eagle Valley School Board. On a motion by Marie Busch, seconded by Jerry Korfe, it passed with no apparent dissent. Eagle Valley High School will once more have a golf program.
