Jim Lunemann of Central Ag Services participated in the 16th annual Professional Sales Conference August 16-18. This three-day conference in LaCrosse, Wisconsin was sponsored by the Feed Division of Land O’ Lakes Feed, Inver Grove Heights.

Vivian Kugler and Ernie Hofmann entertained in the craft building at Rose City Threshing. A team of Clydesdale’s were also an attraction.

Three of the senior girls were honored by their classmates as they selected them as the homecoming queen candidates for the 1974 Homecoming: Shelia Motl, Nancy Nordstrom—daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Nordstrom—and Barb Willie—daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Willie—are the lucky candidates who are anxiously awaiting the night of the queen coronation which will be Thursday, September 26.

The Eagle Bend football team struggled through a mistake-filled season opener as they came out on the short end of a 6-0 score to Buffalo Lake.
