For those of you who are not familiar with the Eagle Valley Youth Center, Inc., this is a non-profit organization that was founded to establish and maintain a “Teen Center”, a “Spot” for many young people to claim as their own. Many volunteered long and hard hours to get “The Spot” up and running, at it has been able to continue for over ten years thanks to community support, volunteers and dedicated managers. To commemorate The Spots’ 10 year birthday, the volunteers and manager who comprise the board have made some goals to refresh The Spot, located on Main Street, Eagle Bend, between the post office and the VFW Club.
