The Eagle Bend Volunteer Fire Department was called to the Dale Rachuy farm on Saturday, November 7, where the barn was on fire. Rachuy had been cleaning the barn when his tractor suddenly stopped. In attempting to restart the tractor, it misfired and was immediately ignited. The fire leveled the barn, destroying the tractor and loader, a small amount of hay, and a pile of native red oak lumber that was stored nearby.
