Remembering Mike and Paula Black: Fundraisers set up for their children
by Trinity Gruenberg
A fundraiser has been set up to help the children of Mike and Paula Black, whose lives were tragically lost in a house fire on August 1.
Emma and Chloe were not home at the time of the fire, but Wyatt was and he sustained minor burns. The fundraisers will be used for clothing, school supplies and whatever else they may need after losing everything in the devastating fire.
As of August 19, the GoFundMe account has amassed over $15,800.
An account has also been set up for the children at Mid Central National Bank in Wadena. You can call 218-631-1414 to donate in their name.
Mike worked for PSC out of Fargo, ND, and his Local 49 union donated $5000 to the children’s trust.
