Roth pleads guilty to disseminating child pornography
According to court documents, on March 13, Nathan Roth of rural Verndale entered a plea of guilty for disseminating pornographic material involving minors.
On or about June 13, 2017, Roth was in possession of pornographic material involving minors, downloaded via peer-to-peer file sharing. He was aware of the contents of the material.
The material was made available for sharing with other users via the same file-sharing software. The material was disseminated to other users including the investigating law enforcement agencies.
The remaining charges are to be dismissed.
Roth will receive a stay of execution of the sentence for five years. He will serve 120 days in custody on electronic home monitoring with work release privileges if eligible. Complete a psycho-sexual evaluation and follow recommendations. No contact with minors unless approved and a $1500 fine plus surcharges. . .
