Sheriff’s office receives five new squad cars

The Todd County Sheriff’s Office has added five new 2023 Chevy Tahoes to their fleet of squad cars.

Chief Deputy Jon Barber explained these new squads were ordered under Sheriff Steve Och, and were delayed due to the pandemic. As far as their rotation, they are still a year behind.

Each new squad cost about $40,000.

“We went with the Chevys, they look big and flashy, but they were not any more expensive than the other cars,” said Barber....
