Shooting in Long Prairie leaves one dead and two fighting for their lives
On September 12, at approximately 3:29 a.m., the Todd County Sheriff's Office received a report of gunshots in the 500 block of 2nd Ave. SE in the city of Long Prairie.
Multiple parties fled from the scene as officers arrived.
Law enforcement located a deceased male victim in the yard of the residence. Another male victim was transported by CentraCare Ambulance to the CentraCare Hospital in Long Prairie and was later airlifted to the St. Cloud Hospital.
The deceased was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office for positive identification and autopsy. . .
