Tank Triumph: Wadena Welcomes Mighty M48 Patton

The Veterans Park in Wadena welcomed their newest addition early Monday morning, October 2, as people watched the M48 Patton Tank enter the park on a semi.

The Wadena Veterans Park Association had been working the past several years to acquire a tank, as well as other military equipment to honor our local veterans.

Nicole White, Social Media and Public Relations Coordinator for the Park Association, explained that earlier this year they were presented with an opportunity to purchase a tank out of Alabama....
