“That’s why we’re here—to help feed our neighbors”: Browerville Food Shelf receives large donation

“That’s why we’re here—to help feed our neighbors,” were the words of the Browerville Area Food Shelf Director Renae Buhl when representatives from Dan’s Prize stopped by on Wednesday, October 27 to deliver a $7000 check.

“As members of this community it is important for us to support and service your efforts,” said Dan’s Prize President Jeff Tobak as he handed Buhl the check.

Although during the pandemic height with other food distribution programs and stimulus funds the food shelf saw a decline in use, Buhl noted that the numbers have been rising again since several programs have been discontinued. . .
