Theft costs 4-H educator her position


According to court documents, Kimberly Dailey of Sebeka received a citation on July 10 for misdemeanor theft.

Dailey plead guilty to the theft on August 1.

“On or about June 23, 2024 to July 10, 2024, I took items, with an approximate value of $34.98 from Walmart without paying for them.”

Dailey was sentenced to a $50 fine, $34.98 restitution to Walmart and fees totaling $174.98 to be paid within six months.

County Administrator CJ Holl shared the county was notified on August 23 by the University of MN Extension that she no longer would be serving as the county 4-H extension educator. She was an employee of the U of MN, not the county. She had been on leave since August 2.
