Three Raiders qualify for Elite Meets

The Bertha-Hewitt-Verndale Raiders Track and Field team had three athletes qualify for two prestigious Elite meets this past weekend.

On Friday, April 25, Brady Rach competed at the Hamline Elite Meet, regarded as Minnesota’s premier high school track and field event, where athletes from all three classes come together to compete for top honors and fast times.

Brady ran the 800-meter race, finishing 2nd overall with a time of 1:53.57, breaking his own school record.

Aaron Peterson of Anoka captured first place, while Rach narrowly edged out Class A competitor Tate Goegren of GMLOKS for second....
