Tigers are victorious on the week

On last Tuesday, May 2, the Browerville/Eagle Valley softball team hosted a conference doubleheader against the Bulldogs from Swanville in their first home game of the year. The Tigers came away with two hard-fought victories over the Bulldogs by final scores of 4-1 and 10-4.
Game 1 was a pitcher’s duel with no scoring until Swanville put a run on the board in the top of the 4th. B/EV answered back with 3 hits and 3 runs of their own in the bottom of the 4th.
The Tigers tacked one more run on in the 5th and, with good defense and pitching, were able to shut down the Bulldogs’ offense the rest of the way. . .
