Tigers dominate Silverstreaks, fall to Trojans

The Tigers hosted the Osakis Silverstreaks on Tuesday, seeking revenge for their previous 2-3 loss in the first round of conference play. This time, the Tigers dominated, defeating Osakis 3-0 with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, and 25-14.
The Tigers minimized errors both offensively and defensively, keeping plays alive during scrambles and capitalizing on out-of-system balls. Aggressive serving led to 9 aces, with Madison Browen contributing 4.
Offensively, the team finished with 31 kills, led by Natalie Marxer with 9, Ashley Perish with 8, and Miley Riedel with 6.
The Tigers’ blocking was solid, recording 10 ace blocks, with Perish involved in 8 of them. Ava Lorentz effectively distributed the offense, ending with 22 set assists.
In the back row, Browen had 17 digs, Marxer 10, and Riedel 8, showcasing strong defensive efforts....
