Tigers drop two close games

Browerville/Eagle Valley - 57, Osakis- 61
The Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers put together two very good games this last week, but came up short against both Osakis and Nevis.
The Tigers hosted the Silverstreaks from Osakis on Thursday.
In the first half, Browerville/Eagle Valley’s defense was able to limit the Silverstreaks to 24 points.
Turnovers for each team in the half were 8 for the Tigers and 7 for Osakis.
B/EV built an eight point lead behind some hot shooting from behind the arc.
Fraylin Melenciano made three, and Brady Reed two, from behind the arc.
Ryan DeCock and Christian Tobas each made one.
Osakis did not sink any three point shots in the first half.
Melenciano led all scorers at half time with 9 points. Browerville/Eagle Valley had a 32 to 24 lead at the half....
