Tigers end season with 19-8 record

The Tigers opened up the Section 5A playoffs on Thursday, March 3 by hosting the Trojans from Sebeka. The Trojans opened up the scoring but the Tigers quickly answered with a 16-0 run of their own. After some turnovers and some cold shooting, the Tigers were able to head into the locker room with a 27-13 point lead.

The Tigers came out of the locker room and hit their only two three-pointers of the night to stretch the lead to 19 points. Foul trouble and some turnovers allowed the Trojans to creep back to within 12. Free throws and long possessions for the Tigers allowed them to stretch the lead back out to as many as 22 again with a final score of 61-45. . .
