Tigers foist the Pirates and topple the Thunder

The Tigers hosted two games this week in Clarissa.
The first was against section opponent Verndale.
The JV started the night out with a victory.
The varsity came out ready to play and jumped out to an early lead.
The Pirates did make a run of their own mid way through the first half but the Tigers were able to go into halftime with a 14 point lead.
Again the Pirates put together a run of their own and got the game back within single digits, but the Tigers were able to execute their offensive strategy as well as lock down defensively to secure the 20 point victory.
Madison Wendel led all scorers with 17, Lydia Stearns added in 16 points and 9 rebounds, Miley Riedel added in 14 points and Lydia Reed added in 11 rebounds....
