Tigers on the prowl

The Browerville-Eagle Valley Tigers traveled to Verndale on Monday to take on the Pirates, a 5A Section match-up. After many lead changes, the Tigers came out with a 3-1 (25-13, 14-25, 25-20, 29-27) victory over the Pirates.

Game one started off in favor of the Tigers 7-6. Behind aggressive serving by Chloe Lorentz, the Tigers rattled off 12 points to strengthen the lead to 19-6. With that cushion, the Tigers coasted to a 25-13 finish.
