Tigers pull down three wins

In a game of statistical balance, the Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers came out on top against the Silverstreaks from Osakis. Both teams had 24 rebounds, 10 assists, and 2 blocked shots. The Tigers had 7 steals and 11 turnovers, while the Silverstreaks had 6 steals and 12 turnovers. B/EV’s shooting percentage for the game was 53.5%, and Osakis' was 52%.
The game between these two teams was a game of runs in the first half with B/EV able to stay close enough headed into halftime.
The Tigers' offense struggled early on as they spent most of their time on the defensive end. Osakis jumped out to a 17 to 5 lead just seven and a half minutes into the game. It was then 19 to 8 when the Tigers would go on a 6-0 run over the next four minutes. The Silverstreaks answered with a 10-2 run of their own and held a 13-point lead with just 1:35 to go in the half. The Tigers ended the half with two Parker Duncan baskets and a three-point basket by Hans Puck to pull within six, 23 - 29.
Osakis opened the second half with two baskets and a ten-point lead. . .
