Browerville-Eagle Valley 14 B.O.L.D. 28

The Browerville-Eagle Valley Tigers traveled to Olivia last week to take on the B.O.L.D. Warriors. Despite the final score, the Tigers got better in this game.

Our goal from the very beginning of the season was to get better each day and each game. We did that again tonight. We blocked better, we tackled better, and we knew our assignments better and had better energy.

What hurt us were a couple of chunk plays that kept the ball in the hands of the Warriors. Their freshman back is very shifty and quick-footed, if you don’t break down and play assignment football, he’ll get you. (He got us a few times.) . . .
