Tigers take down Trojans and Cardinals
by Coach Robert Schueller
Browerville/Eagle Valley - 81, Sebeka - 22
The Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers traveled north to Sebeka last week to take on the Trojans. The Tigers outplayed a young, inexperienced, Sebeka team that has struggled to just one win on the season.
From the start, the Tigers' offense was able to get the shots it wanted. Defensively, the Tigers were too much for Sebeka forcing turnovers and tough shots. The halftime score said it all as the Tigers were leading 47 - 14.
Reis Irsfeld scored 10 points while four other Tigers each scored 7 points in the first half.
The second half saw running time at the nine-minute mark. The Tigers’ starters were all on the bench by the twelve-minute mark, and everyone saw extended action. Eleven different players found their way into the scoring column.
The Tigers' offense put another 34 points on the board while only surrendering 8 points to the Trojans. The final score was a decisive win for the Tigers, 81 - 22. . .
