Browerville-Eagle Valley 59, Henning 61

The Browerville-Eagle Valley Tigers opened their season against the Henning Hornets. Henning came in with one win under their belt.

The Tigers kept pace with an experienced Hornets team early on in the game but the Hornet’s firepower proved to be too much. At the half, the score was 33- 22 in favor of Henning. B-EV trailed by 5 points with just over 5 minutes left before halftime. Henning then closed out the half on a 10-4 run.

The two teams exchanged baskets to start the second half before Henning’s Kale Misegades hit back-to-back three-point baskets to give the Hornets their largest lead of the game 48-29. . .
