Tigers take the bite out of the Bulldogs

by Coach Robert Schueller

Browerville/Eagle Valley - 86, Sebeka - 75

Browerville/Eagle Valley took on the Sebeka Trojans last week. Despite a large advantage on the boards, 44 rebounds for B/EV and 19 for Sebeka, the game was just a three point difference with 6 ½ minutes left in the game.

The Tigers offense was working as they put up 39 first half points and another 47 in the second half. Defensively, the Tigers couldn’t find an answer for the hot-shooting Trojans.

Sebeka made 13 three-pointers in the game which allowed them to hang around the Tigers.

Browerville/Eagle Valley’s Blake Irsfeld hit four from beyond the arc in a four minute stretch. This helped give the Tigers a 16 point lead with 11:14 to go in the game....
