Tigers upset undefeated Silverstreaks

Browerville/Eagle Valley - 66, Osakis - 56
The Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers took on the leaders of the Prairie Conference, the Osakis Silverstreaks, last Tuesday in Browerville. Osakis came in undefeated in the Conference and had already defeated the Tigers 62 - 38 in their first meeting. Browerville/Eagle Valley came in with two Conference losses.
The Tigers put together their best game on both ends of the court this season. Defensively they caused 16 Osakis turnovers while disrupting the Silverstreaks’ offense. Offensively, the Tigers did a nice job of taking care of the ball while creating open shots from a variety of spots on the court.
Hans Puck opened the scoring with a three-pointer one minute into the game. . .
