Tigers win both games for the week

Browerville/Eagle Valley - 87, St. John’s Prep - 78
Browerville/Eagle Valley traveled to Collegeville to take on Prairie Conference foe St. John’s Prep last week. The Johnnies welcomed the Tigers with a 43 point first half.
St. John’s made eight first half three pointers and the Tigers could not find an answer defensively to slow down the Johnnies’ scoring. B/EV’s offense also put up 43 points led by Miguel Maloney’s 20 points.
The Tigers offense scored another 44 second half points, and went on an early run to take a fourteen point lead, 61 - 47.
The Johnnies did not let the game go completely to the Tigers and would recover to within three points on two occasions....
