Ashby scored 2 in the first using 2 walks, an error and a hit. The Tigers got one back in the bottom of the first using 3 walks to Miguel Maloney, Ryan Riedel and Grady Tomford. Maloney scored on a wild pitch to make the score 2-1.

The Tigers took the lead with 2 in the bottom of the 3rd highlighted by a double from Nate Benning and a 2 RBI double from Tomford to make the score 3-2. Ashby tied the score in the top of the 7th taking advantage of a Tigers error and adding an RBI single to make the score 3-3. . .
