To vaccinate or not to vaccinate?
by Kat Wiirre
To vaccinate or not to vaccinate? This question became extremely real for me on October 10 after I tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
My husband tested positive first and then two days later so did I. We received a call from the hospital asking if we would like to go in and take the mononuclear antibody antigens via an IV.
My husband arrived at the hospital, had an IV inserted, and received the antibody antigens. Two days later, I, too, went in and received the same IV. The both of us felt quite a bit worse afterward.
My husband had typical COVID symptoms such as weakness, fatigue, nausea, muscle aches, and upper respiratory issues. He recovered much quicker than I and returned to work after the allotted ten days of quarantine.
I wasn’t so lucky. . .
