Todd County Board of Commissioners: Consider conditional use permit

During the public comment period prior to the start of the regular June 20 meeting, there was a discussion about Charles Anderson who had submitted an application for a conditional use permit (CUP) to establish a six-site commercial planned unit development (PUD) in Little Sauk Township. The application was reviewed by the Planning Commission during its June 1 public hearing. The final recommendation from the Planning Commission was to deny the application based on the findings of fact identified:

1. Failure to adequately address sewage treatment standards.

2. Failure to address public safety based on proximity to Highway 71.

Anderson said that the site has very limited use because of the width. . .
