Todd County Board of Commissioners: Routine meeting held: Work session covers many topics

It was a fairly routine meeting of the board during their regular session on November 16.
After the regular session, there were also several other topics brought up during the work session.
Those topics included: an update on Rainbow Rider, the Drug Task Force, solar ordinance discussion, vacation rental ordinance discussion and the Mississippi River-Brainerd Memorandum of Understanding and policy committee members.
In other business:
• Accepted the resignation of Resource Conservationist-Wetlands Lewis Noska as of December 1.
• Approved Connie Helgeson to fill the open eligibility worker position in the Health and Human Services Department (HHS). A start date is to be determined.
• Approved Jacob Schwebke to fill the open social worker position in HHS.
• Approved the hiring of Timothy Ebnet as Resource Conservationist-Ag. This was an internal application process. This is a lateral hire proposal at Grade 10. No additional step or grade increase beyond the status applicant is at currently is being requested. The proposed start date will be November 22. . .
