The regular meeting of the Todd County Board of Commissioners was held on Wednesday, June 5 due to the 4th of July holiday.

The board approved a couple of updates/changes at the Todd County Fairgrounds for the Todd County Ag Society in preparation for the upcoming fair.

The first change was to move two of the small buildings that are used for ticket booths for events.

Apparently, when it rains, the water runs off the roof right onto patrons purchasing tickets. If they move the position of these two buildings it will change the way the water runs off and it won’t be such an issue.

They will also be adding a larger window which will help with the sales by giving more space. There are small windows in the two buildings currently. These will be replaced with larger sliding windows.

The two buildings were made by Eagle Creek Builders and were purchased with COVID funds in the event that the county would need them for vaccination clinics.

The board approved the move of the buildings at $75 by Eagle Creek Builders.

The board also approved the window replacement at $175 per window for two windows (one in each building).

The second update was to put in more electrical outlets in the north end (where the horses are kept) of the livestock building. . .
