Todd County Board of Commissioners: Voter fraud is questioned

A concerned citizen spoke to the board of commissioners during their January 18 meeting. He addressed the board during the public input forum prior to the meeting.
He said that he had some concerns about voter fraud going on even within the county.
He said that on October 17 he had requested from the Todd County Auditor/Treasurer’s office voters lists and other information which he understood was public information.
After ten business days and hearing nothing, he did a follow-up with a couple of e-mails. He received two e-mails back saying that Auditor/Treasurer Denise Gaida was out of the office and would answer the e-mails upon her return.
On November 12, when he went in to pay his taxes, he asked about it again.
At that time, Chief Deputy Auditor/Treasurer Jolene Sabrowsky told him that they were working on the request but because it was such an “unusual request” they were making sure they had everything they needed in place to respond to the request.
“That was two months ago and I have heard nothing,” he said. . .
