Vehicle leaves roadway in Hewitt

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on December 29, at 11:32 a.m., a Dodge Caravan was traveling north on Highway 71, at Highway 210, when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the right ditch. The road conditions were snow/ice-covered. The driver, Steven Thomas Peters, 70, of Dover was uninjured. His passenger, Ann Sophia Peters, 68, of Dover sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Tri-County Health Care. Both were wearing seatbelts. They were assisted by the Todd County Sheriff’s Department.
