Verndale City Council handles routine business

The Verndale City Council held its regular meeting on March 14. Council Member Jim Runyan was absent.

Maintenance Report

Supervisor Matt Uselman shared Verndale had the winning Water Week poster, created by Mara Uselman, that will be on the cover of the Minnesota Rural Water Association magazine.

They will begin filling up the new water tower sometime in early April. Both towers will be operational for about a month to ensure the new one is working correctly before shutting down the old one.

Uselman will get more bids for the concrete work to be done behind the bar as the previous contractor quit. . .
