Verndale City Council: Not enough members attend meeting for a quorum

The Verndale City Council held its regular meeting on Monday, September 9. As Mayor Tara Erckenbrack and Member Ardith Carr were the only ones present, a quorum could not be established. A special meeting will be held on September 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Reports were heard, but no actions were taken. 

Fire Chief Mike Madsen said they had 13 calls for the month. They discussed the number one engine refurbishment, with a tentative date of October 12 to take it in for repairs. They also discussed the building payoff between the city and relief savings to create a repayment plan for the truck refurbishment....
