Verndale City Council: Routine meeting covers various topics

The Verndale City Council held its regular meeting on December 13.
Water Project
In a memorandum from Clif Allen, it was noted that the work on the water tower has ended with the onset of winter. They had hoped to begin using the tower before winter but the contractor determined to wait until spring to operate it. The regular monthly progress meetings have also been suspended until spring. This will have no effect on the cost or schedule for the project.
Approved partial pay estimate 10 for remaining electrical and controls installation for $15,200 for Maguire Iron. Approved to pay the Moore Engineering invoice of $2403. . .
