Verndale City Council Survey for new Lions building complete, speed signs installed

The Verndale City Council held their regular meeting on April 8.

Supervisor Matt Uselman said the property for the new Lions building had been surveyed and pins placed. He will contact the property owner to the north to prevent pins from accidentally getting pulled out.
He would like to try for a new grant from Sourcewell for the wheeled loader. The council approved the resolution. The grant is between $20-$50,000. The winners are randomly selected until the funds are spent.
Speed signs showing “your speed” are up on Brown Street’s north and south ends, hoping to slow people down when they enter town....
