Verndale clobbers Cass Lake 68-8

The Verndale Pirates Football team took down the Cass Lake team 68-8 at their game on Friday, September 13.

The Pirates started off the scoring in the first quarter with a 34 yard pass to Evan Jares from Shawn Schmitz. The two point conversion pass was good putting the Pirates up 8-0.

Cass Lake did not score until the second quarter. It was their only score.
