Verndale School Board: Back to school plan

by Trinity Gruenberg

The Verndale School Board held a special meeting on August 23.

Back to School Plan

Approved the school opening plan. This is a requirement for the school to continue the last year of the ESSER dollars that were allotted in the previous year. The Verndale Public School will continue typical, in-person academic and extracurricular operations this school year. Masks are optional. Social distancing is not required. They ask that staff and students self-screen at home.

COVID positive requires that students or staff remain home for five days after becoming symptomatic, and can return to school after being fever-free for 24 hours. . .
