by Trinity Gruenberg
The Verndale School Board held their regular meeting on Monday, June 3.
Administrative Reports
Principal Katie Bolland stated that the B’s or Better Breakfast held in-house this year instead of at the community center went well.
Fourteen seniors were recognized for academic letters for a 3.67 or higher GPA, and 37 received diplomas.
Bolland is attending several conferences this summer: the Sourcewell High-Reliability Schools leadership meeting, the Sourcewell Leadership Retreat, the AVID Summer Institute, which has seven teachers attending, and the Sourcewell MN Summit at Breezy Point, which has 23 staff signed up.
Final report cards came out June 4, with paper copies upon request.
The school seeks to fill four paraprofessional positions and a K-12 music teacher....
