The Verndale School commemorated Patriot Day on Monday, September 11, with a parade and a ceremony.
The kindergarten through sixth grade donned their red, white and blue, made flags and paraded down Farwell and Main Streets. Due to the morning rain, the ceremony was held inside at the school gym....
