Verndale students get hands-on experience and are inspired
Verndale High School students recently had the opportunity to explore the cutting-edge fields of robotics and machine trades during an engaging field trip to Central Lakes College in Staples. The visit provided a firsthand look at the advanced programs offered by the college and inspired students to imagine the possibilities of careers in technology.
Under the guidance of robotics instructors Nate Peterson and Brady Bordwell, students explored the fast-paced world of robotics. The instructors’ passion and expertise inspired the group, sparking thoughtful discussions about how robotics shapes industries and everyday life.
This year was particularly exciting, as Verndale alumnus Israel Ervasti, now in his second year with the CLC Robotics program, explained his team’s projects with the students....
