Jacob Evans shared his concerns about the walking path that will be created along County Road 101. Crews were removing the ditch where they planned to push snow, as it’s close to his home. He also questioned whether he would be responsible for plowing the trail? Evans was also concerned about the enforcement of the 30 mph speed limit.
The Evans family bought a house in the country so as not to have to deal with people being in their yard and wanting a safe space for their kids to play and for their dogs to run free. The walking path would make them feel like they’re in town. He also questioned where the funding for the trail and maintenance was coming from? They suggested talking to the county engineer. Half of the road is within city limits. There appeared to be no plan for the maintenance of the trail....
