The Wadena County Commissioners held their regular meeting on Tuesday, May 16.
Old Wadena to Open
Memorial Weekend
Malone shared pictures of the progress at Old Wadena from after the tornado until the present time. The debris is mostly removed. The Todd-Wadena Sentence to Serve cut wood, and piled brush for the county to move. The outhouse is repaired. The pavilion has been rebuilt. The hand water pump has been repaired and the spit rail fence will be done soon.
“It’s not the same, it will never be the same, but it is much better now,” said Malone. . .
