The Wadena County Commissioners held their regular meeting on October 10.

Veterans Service Officer to Retire

David Anderson, Wadena County’s veteran service officer, shared with the commissioners his plans to retire in a year, next October, saying working with the county has been the highlight of his career.

Anderson added he is currently fighting leukemia. He will be making frequent visits to continue his treatment. He intends to work when he’s not receiving treatment, and will be back full-time when the treatments are complete....
