Wadena couple identified in murder-suicide
On April 29, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of two adults who were found deceased at a residence in rural Wadena, located within Otter Tail County.
After further investigation, the incident was determined to be a murder-suicide.
Isaac Malone, 25, shot and killed his wife, Ariel Malone, 25, at their residence in Compton Township, rural Wadena. Isaac then took his own life.
Autopsies were completed by the Midwest Medical Examiners Office. The MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation.
Isaac was a 2015 Wadena-Deer Creek graduate and was working alongside his father for Malone Construction.
Ariel (Sakry) was an Alexandria native and was working to become a teacher.
The couple was married on October 19, 2019, and have a three-year-old son, and a one-year-old daughter. . .
