Warm Hearts, Filled Bellies: Lions Club donates 16 Boxes of Wholesome Meals to Local Schools!
On September 22, members of the Verndale Lions brought a donation to the Verndale School.
The Lions coordinated with the Nisswa Lions, working with The Outreach Program of Brainerd Lakes, to package boxes of food, and in return were able to donate some of the boxes themselves.
They brought 16 boxes of food to the school to help students and families in need. Each box contained seven bags of food, which in turn will make 42 servings. The meals are designed to be prepared by just adding water....
