Wrapping gifts for those in need

Wrapping Day was held at the Verndale Family Life Church on Saturday, December 17.

This event wraps up their annual Giving Tree.

Working with local social services, Pastor Tahna Rurup received information about families in need this holiday season. Tags were created with these families in mind for people to check out and shop for. No names are involved, just ages, clothing sizes, and things they would like or need for Christmas.

There were 120 tags created for 15 families. The church also provides an additional gift of a gas card, a Bible, and a Christmas meal. . .
