St. Marie sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole

Antonio St. Marie was sentence to life in prison without the possibility of parole on March 22 for the murder of his wife Margaret.
According to court documents, St. Marie was sentenced for murder in the first degree-premeditated; 45 months, with a credit of time served for 500 days for kidnapping; and to 60 months, with a credit of 500 days served for felon in possession with a firearm.
St. Marie was found guilty in January of murdering his wife in their apartment on November 7, 2016. This occurred a few hours after St. Marie released from jail for domestic assault. He held Margaret, their child and her brother James Flath Jr. in the apartment before letting Flath go with the child.
St. Marie shot his wife and fled the scene and crashed head-on into another vehicle in an attempt at suicide.
