City of Stapled approved to purchase tax-forfeited parcels

At their regular meeting on May 2, the commissioners completed a sale of two parcels to the city of Staples.
The parcels, which were tax-forfeited, both were condemned by an inspector.
Staples City Administrator Jerel Nelsen met with the commissioners during a work session on April 25 to discuss the city’s intention of purchasing these properties.
