    In the fall of 2000, Will and Peggy Line, of Wadena, the owners of the Tree House, had an idea. It started out small, as just an idea of a tree house for their grandchildren to stay in during their visits. They purchased the property the Tree House is now built on in 2000.

 

    The couple was committed to taking up the project on their own without any help from a contractor. After receiving their building permit, they began construction.
